General Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support to the UIP team. Collects, reviews, and analyzes data and prepares reports, charts, and other presentation materials utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, or specialized software. Prepares and distributes reports or other communications on a regular schedule. Maintains files, databases, and archives of relevant records. Screens calls and responds to or routes inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging.

Specific Duties May Include Any or All of the Following:

  • Greet and assist office guests

  • Field incoming calls and transfer to the appropriate person

  • Oversee incoming/outgoing mail and handle/deliver accordingly

  • Provide general clerical support to UIP team and leadership

  • Base level underwriting and/or claims support tasks for either or both programs in the office

  • Manage office calendar for companywide meetings including assisting management in ordering food when appropriate.

  • General Upkeep of office including kitchen area, refrigerator, & plants

  • Note taker at company meeting including distribution to appropriate team members

  • Accounting support including setup and payment follow up

  • Broker appointment & compliance

  • Other duties/projects as assigned

  • Online Underwriting Tools

  • Rating Systems

  • Avaya

  • Microsoft Office 365
